Kimberly Joy Peoples body became whole again as she went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022, at Jenkins Care Community of Wellston. She was born April 15th, 1957, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Harley and Helen (Wastier) Jenkins.

Kim was a beloved resident of Jenkins Care Community for 41 years. She worked at J-Vac Industries and was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church of Oak Hill. She enjoyed painting and embroidery and was known as a “social butterfly” as she loved to visit with all the other residents. Kim was strong in her faith, she loved her Jesus, loved attending the church services at Jenkins, and sharing her testimony with others. She was a bright light that will be missed throughout the lives of all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brother, Harley (Nancy) Jenkins; niece, Sarah Jenkins; great-nephews, Gage and Harley; special cousins: Sharon Crabtree, Wendy (Tim) James, Leslie (Kip) Bryant, Whitney (Harold) King, and Stan (Meredith) Howard; special little cousins, Toby King, Harper and Wyatt James, and Rowan Durham; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kerry Peoples.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her “Jenkins Care Community Family” for the loving care they provided down through the years.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2PM with Rev. Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
