Calvin Jenkins

Calvin Jenkins, age 88, of South Webster, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with dementia at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born October 9th, 1936, in Eifort, Ohio to the late George and Stella (Caldwell) Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Barbara (Hughes) Jenkins of South Webster, Ohio; his daughters, Karen (Tom) Gruber of South Webster, Ohio and Janet Frey of Cape Coral, Florida; grandchildren: Amanda (Thomas) Lambert, James Calhoun, Calvin Frey, Ashley Mathews, Megan (Brandon) McNeal, and Charles Matthews; and ten great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Matthews.
