Julia "Julie" Natasha Ann Simpson

Julia Natasha Ann Simpson, age 39, of Oak Hill, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1985 in Toledo, Ohio to Ernie and Teresa Simpson, who survive.

She is survived by her parents; her brothers, Jeremy Adkins, of Oak Hill, Nathan (Amber) Simpson, of Oak Hill; sister, Tiffany (Michael) Chandler, of Oak Hill; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that will always love and miss her very much. She also leaves behind her two dogs, she dearly loved “Daddy” and “Jango”.

Julie is preceded in death by her life partner, James Mitchell, whom she loved and missed dearly; her mamaw, Olie Puckett; papaw, Arnold Adkins Sr.; grandma, Maxine Simpson; grandpa, Walter Simpson; aunt, Betty Jo Adkins; uncle, Lonnie Simpson; aunt, Brenda Kay Simpson; and uncle Tuffy Simpson.

She loved fishing and camping, spending time with loved ones, listening to music, and hanging out with friends. She loved everyone’s children and was the loudest in the crowd. Julie could over talk anyone, and you could always know when she was around. She was not afraid to put anyone in their place, was feisty and would scrap if she had to.

Our family will love and miss her so very much. Until we meet again.
