Kathy Patrick

Kathy (Rice) Patrick, age 73, of Jackson, Ohio passed away suddenly on June 27, 2025, at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. Kathy Ann Rice Patrick was born on April 8, 1952, in Chillicothe, Ohio, daughter of the late Bob and Esther Rice of Jackson.

Kathy is survived by her sisters, Peggy Rice (Larry) Foster and Karen Rice (Mark) McCann; her nieces and nephews: Ashly Foster, Jamie Boggs, Lindsey (Trevor) Thrift, Caitlin (Brent) Nagel, and Cody (Haley) Eilbacher; eight great-nieces and nephews: Weston and Quincy Foster, Elizabeth (Brynen) Hill, Alexis and Zane Boggs, Juniper and Lillian Thrift, and Easton, Owen and Jackson Nagel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Esther Rice and her nephew, Ryan Foster.

Kathy was a graduate of Jackson High School Class of 1970. She graduated from the Ohio State University School of Cosmetology. She spent most of her working career in the field of cosmetology.

She was an avid OSU Buckeye football fan. She enjoyed spending time with family and was always an easy mark for a joke or a pun. She was a competitive card and board game participant and an enthusiastic fan of Elvis Presley.

Kathy’s visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at 11 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Emeritus Janie Karl officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
