Larry Keith Mcguire

Larry Keith McGuire, age 62, of Oak Hill, passed away after an extended illness early Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his home.  He was born May 10, 1963, in Oak Hill, to the late Vernon and Irene (French) McGuire.  

  Survived by his wife of 6 years, Jackie (Williams) McGuire; children, Tamara (Lucas) Leach, Shane McGuire, Chris McGuire, and Michelle (Ryan) Hall; stepchildren, Miranda (Ben) Lambert, and Austin Dray; grandchildren, Aliyah, Alec, Griffin, Maddie, Rylan, Emmylou, Liam, George, Lucian.  Also surviving are his sisters, Freda (Tom) Metzler and Rita (Bill) House, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  

  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Sharon (McGuire) Fisher; and his niece, Stephanie (Metzler) Windle.  

  Larry worked for Brenmar, and some other construction companies over the years.  At one time, he owned and operated his own company.  He enjoyed spending time in his wood shop, grilling for his friends and family and many trips to Gatlinburg.  

  Visitation will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 11-1 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 with Pastor Fred Crabtree officiating.  Burial will follow in C.M.
