Della F. Jenkins, age 56, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away after a brave battle with cancer. She was born on April 3rd, 1968, in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul David and Martha (Stapleton) Robinson.
Della was a homemaker who loved being with her family. She enjoyed going out to eat and shopping and she loved candles and teddy bears.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Jenkins; her children: Beverly Jenkins, John Jenkins, and Alexis Partlow; granddaughter, Selena Robinson; great-grandson, Greyson Robinson; brothers, Albert and Robert Robinson; special friend who was like a sister to her, Opal Tibbs; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Robinson and grandson, John Matthew Jenkins Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, from 12PM-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with a funeral service to follow at 2PM with Rev. Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
