Sarah Kathryn “Sue” (Martz) Ervin, age 93, passed away at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston, Ohio on Thursday, July 9th, 2020. She was born August 12th, 1926 in Brooksville, Pennsylvania.

Sue is survived by her sons, Tom (Nancy) Ervin of Jackson, Ohio, Mark Ervin of Wellston, Ohio; daughter, Tina (John) Leonard of Jackson, Ohio; brother, Fred Martz of Atwater, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Mary Ervin of Columbus, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; as well as several great and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah (Mowery) Martz; husband, Evan Ervin; son, Terry Ervin; brothers, Harold Martz and John Martz; and sister-in-law, Gert Martz.

Sue was a life member of the Community of Christ Church. She never met a stranger. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, attending church, playing the piano and organ, and canning vegetables.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. No public services will be held per her request. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
