Christina Lynn (Porter) Chapman, age 47, of Thurman, passed away Friday. August 17, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, with her daughter and husband by her side. “Chris” as she was known, was born August 28, 1970, to Debbie Porter and the late Steven White. She married Richard Chapman on February 14, 1993.

In addition to her mother and husband, Richard, she is survived by her children, Tyler (April) Porter, Micah (Ryan) Thomas, Broadie and Hunter; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Brayden, Brynleigh, Axton, Nova, and soon to be, Jessie Lynn. Also surviving are her step-mother, Linda White, brothers and step-sisters and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her grandfather, John Miller, and great grandparents, Albert and Mildred Emerson.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018 from 11-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak HIll. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1PM. Burial will follow at Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
