Sandra Kay (Meacham) Swick, age 72, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2022. She was born on June 17, 1950in Jackson. She was the youngest daughter of the late Judson and Ruth (Poe) Meacham.
She enjoyed drinking coffee, doing her sudoku puzzles, and talking on the phone with family and friends. She also enjoyed doing crafts with her daughter, and sitting down with her little pug “Weezie” to watch TV.
Sandy is survived by her children, Shonda Wible and Judd Swick; best friends, Martha and Don Bell and their sons, D.J. and Colby; along with several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Russell Swick Jr.; brothers, Virgil, Sonny, Johnny and Bobby; sisters, Catherine (Kitty) Hull, Margie Markham, Joanne Meacham, Sharon Lowry, and Ruthie Meacham.
Visitation hours will be 11-1 Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 on Friday with Pastor Jeremy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
