Robert H. McCoy, age 71 of Ray, Ohio passed away late Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home. He was born May 19, 1949 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Clyde McCoy Jr. and the late Doris June (Graham) McCoy.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Debbie (Parks) McCoy; daughter, Missy McCoy (John Nelson); son, Brent (Danielle) Causey; brother, Keith (Jennifer) McCoy; sister, Judy Brunton; grandsons, Austin (Alyssa) Rice, Ethan Nelson, Hunter, Jordan and Harley Causey; great grandson, Ezra Rice; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, David McCoy; and brother-in-law, Wendell Brunton.
Bob graduated from Jackson High School in 1968, he then married the love of his life, Debbie on July 3, 1971. He was a heavy equipment operator and farmed cattle and hogs. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed his family and friends. He loved wood working and hunting. He was a member of Tick Ridge Fairview Christian Church.
Friends may call Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 3-8 PM at the Tick Ridge Fairview Christian Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 at the church with Pastor Butch Cooper and Ronnie Warrens officiating.
