Helen D. (Atwell) Staley, age 73, of Oak Hill, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2022, at her home. She was born December 23, 1948, in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Dewey and Lillian (Traughlin) Atwell.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Staley; children, Sherri Edmonds, Kenny (Stacie) Staley, and Brian (Becky) Staley; four grandchildren, Candace Dunaway, Tyler Staley, Shane Staley, and Kyle Staley; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ernest, Irene, and Margaret.
She was a member of the Jackson Apostolic Church.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Horeb Cemetery in Oak Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
