Roy Wilbur Moore Sr., age 80, of South Webster, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 2, 2017 at his home. He was born October 5, 1936 in Portsmouth to the late Ray and Thelma (Allen) Moore.

On January 26, 1957, he married the love of his life and best friend, Shelby (Ramey) Moore, who survives, along with their three children, Roy (Lisa) Moore Jr., of South Webster, Patrina (Jeff) Queen, of Circleville, and Jeff (Susan) Moore, of Oak Hill; seven grandchildren, Kristen Perry, Ryan Moore, Brittani Farmer, Kayla Moore, Halley Queen, Karla Moore and Troy Moore. Also surviving are twelve great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Elijah, Paytin, T.J., Chloe, Colin, Addi, Rylan, Braxton, Rowyn, Caiden and Clayten; brother, Paul Moore Sr.; brother-in-law, Ed Ramey; sister-in-law, Kay Hubbard Wilkins, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel Moore and Darlene Clagg, along with his brother, Clifford Moore.

He was a member of the Adams Community Church at Slocum Station, Ohio. He loved spending time with his wife and family, sitting on their porch in his “little part of Heaven”. He retired from Osco Industries Pattern Shop in Jackson in 2003.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the funeral home with Kent Madden officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
