John C. Boyd, age 62, of Oak Hill, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2019 at Albert B. Chandler University Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born August 22, 1957 in Oak Hill to the late John P. Boyd and Christine (Watson) Boyd.

He is survived by his sons, Lightning Bolt and Thunderbolt Bolt Boyd, of Oak Hill; special cousin, Donna (David) Boyd; special friends, Keith Dobbs, Greg and Danny.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 11-1 at the Union Baptist Church in Blackfork. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Keith Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
