Lillian Alcox, age 92, of Thurman, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 8th, 2022, at Four Winds of Jackson. She was born March 23rd, 1930, in South Point, Ohio to the late Dave and Liza Mayo.
Lillian was a member of The Easter Stars, she was a Kentucky Colonel, and was the author of Let’s Pretend. She attended Grace Baptist Church of Wellston. She was previously employed as a cook with the Jackson County Sheriff’s office. She loved animals and enjoyed reading her bible every day.
She is survived by her son, Joe Alcox; daughter, Jane (Bill) Cheek; grandchildren: Christopher Brian (Amanda) Cheek, Rebecca (Jason) Malmstom, and Jennifer Walker; and great-grandchildren: Spencer (Sage) Cheek, Kendall Cheek, Tristan Malmstrom, Kaleb Walker, and Gabriel Walker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dave Alcox; husband, Ernest Alcox; and several siblings.
