Blanche “Betty” E. Dickason, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at the age of 98. She was born March 14, 1926, in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Millard Dow and Jennie (Claar) Coyan. 


She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Dickason; daughter, Pamela Sue Dickason; father, Millard Dow; mother, Jennie Coyan; and stepfather, Harold Coyan; sister, Margaret Tope; and brother, Johnny Dow.     


She was a devoted mother to her surviving sons, Michael (Dr. Bobbie Reker) Dickason, and Jeffrey (Jo Ellen) Dickason; granddaughter, Amy (John) Scott; great granddaughter, Kristine Dickason; great-great granddaughter, Kelsie Clarkson; and special niece, Judy Crum. 


Betty was a compassionate, generous, and spiritual person who attended the Four Mile Church.  She will be missed by her family and all who knew her. 


Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12-3 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson.  Funeral services will follow at 3 PM.  Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com

Our hearts go out to your family. Betty, Floyd, Amy and Kristine were wonderful neighbors who welcomed us to the neighborhood when we moved to Longworth Street. She will be missed❤️
