Billy Donald Lewis, age 91, of Oak Hill, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, with his daughter, Sandy by his side. He was born January 9th, 1931, in South Webster, Ohio to the late Arthur S. and Gladys (Ruth) Lewis.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Madison-Jefferson Fire Department. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church and attended when health allowed.
Billy adored his grandchildren. He was an easy-going, patient man who never raised his voice. He made his family’s lives great and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his children: Billy (Holly) Lewis of Arizona, Sandra (Brian) Holbrook of Oak Hill, Ohio, Crystal Davis of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Tammy (Steve) Trepanier of Jackson, Ohio; granddaughters: Brandi (Sam) Messerly of Columbus, Ohio, Taylor (Adam) Laws of South Carolina, Jenna (Daniel) Wagner of New York, Samantha “Sami”(Ben) Opfel of Texas, and Tia Holbrook of Columbus, Ohio; grandson, Steven Trepanier of Athens, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Katarina, Claira, Hailey, Cooper, and Addison; siblings: Annabelle Miller, Wilbur (Brenda) Lewis, Dave (Eloise) Lewis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by great-grandson, Cameron Laws and siblings: Arthur Lewis, Wendell Lewis, and Juanita Mahoney.
Calling hour will be held on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2PM at the funeral home with Pastor Linda Plummer officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
