Barbara Lee (Conger) Sharp, age 80, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Monday, November 7th, 2022, at Holzer of Jackson. She was born October 23rd, 1942, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Simon and Noka (Waugh) Conger.
Barb was a proud U.S. Army Veteran. She loved her church and her church family. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Barb enjoyed gambling and was especially fond of Bingo.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (William) Howell of Jackson, Ohio; son, Daniel (Jackie) Sharp of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren: William “Billy” Howell Jr. of Jackson, Ohio, David Howell of Brilliant, Ohio, and Megan (Mica) Cormier of Newark, Ohio; brother, William J. Conger; as well as 13 great-grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Albert and Janice Fairchild.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11th, 2022, at 11AM with Pastor Allen Gibson at the Jackson Baptist Temple, 177 Industry Drive, Jackson, OH 45640.
