Mary Elizabeth (Landrum) Reed, age 84, of Jackson, Ohio slipped away to Heaven on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Kobacker Hospice Facility of Columbus, Ohio. She was born May 21, 1933 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Walter Scott and Nellie Leora (Foster) Landrum.

Mary was a loving wife and homemaker; known as “Pink Gramma” to her great-grandchildren. She loved all her family and enjoyed bingo, country music, and making pies and noodles for the Jackson County Senior Citizens Center where she volunteered daily for many years. Mary was nominated and proudly served as the Senior Citizen’s Queen of the Jackson County Apple Festival in 2011.

She is survived by her brothers, Ike and Floyd Landrum; sister, Charleen Haynes, all of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews; daughter: Carla Elizabeth (Chick) Zinkon of Johns Island, South Carolina; grandchildren: Yancey S. (Rosemary) Zinkon of Augusta, Georgia, David E. (Wendy) Smalley II of Canal Winchester, Ohio, Ryan S. (Ashley) Pelletier of Wellston, Ohio, Grant E. (Jennifer) Zinkon of Charleston, South Carolina, Christina (Scott) Reed of Columbus, Ohio, and Scott L. (Cammie) Reed of Stoutsville, Ohio; 18 great-grandchildren: Andrew, Ashley, Aiden, Evan, Jayce, Hayden, Rylan, Ella Cate, Jacob, Ashley, Lindsey, Kara, Reileigh, Ellie, Kaycee, Bradley, Lauren, and Taylor.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents, was her former husband Kenneth D. Reed; son: Scott Landrum Reed; and daughter, Kendra M. (Reed) Moore; sisters: Hazel Collins, Freda Lambert, Juanita Bolen, Bernice Sturgill, Kathleen Foster, Clara Mae Reed, Eileen Walker, and Frances Ann Landrum; brothers: Paul, John, Ivan, Walter Jr., and Billy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 18th, 2018 from 4-8PM. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
