Clifford J. “J.R.” Bloomfield, age 53, of Patriot, Ohio passed away after an extended illness on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He was born March 3, 1964 in Oak Hill, Ohio to Audrey (Knip) Bloomfield and the late Clifford Bloomfield Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Chelsea, Kim and Delbert Bloomfield; three grandchildren; aunt, Betty Bloomfield; siblings, Patty Bloomfield, Timmy Bloomfield, and Alvena Bloomfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Christopher Bloomfield.

J.R. was a good man with a loving heart. He loved music, working on cars, spending time with friends, and singing. He was a lot of fun to be around. He loved to sing and he loved the Lord. He was a kind son and a friend to everyone.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018 from 11-1pm at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gallia Baptist Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
