Theodore Vinton Stone

Theodore Vinton Stone Jr. “Stoney”, age 68, of Oak Hill, passed away at his home on Friday, December 5, 2025. He was born on October 25, 1957, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Jack and Lillogene (Dye) Stone.

He is survived by his aunt, Carol Stone, of South Webster; cousins: Roberta Stone (Fred Allen), of Wheelersburg, William “Jeff” Stone, of South Webster, James Stone, of Columbus, Marsha Stone, of Columbus, Ronald (Crystal) Stone, of South Webster, Tom (Sue Ann) Stone and Scott Stone, both of Buckhorn, Ohio, and Tommy Righter, of West Virginia. Also surviving is special friend, Karen Fulkerson; special friend, Bill Hardin and many cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his caregivers, Gloria Hall, Courtney Scott, Ashley Radcliffe, and Christopher McFadden.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his aunts and uncles, William Leslie Stone, and Arthur and Annabell Stone, Bill and Marie Righter, and Ed Stone.

Vinton attended school in Oak Hill and Blackfork. He was a truck driver and enjoyed trading cars and working on cars and trucks. He was an avid fan of country music.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 6-8 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
