Louise A. Farley

Louise A. Farley (formerly Morse), age 90, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at Buckeye Forest of Jackson. Louise was born January 16th, 1935, in Louisa, Kentucky daughter of the late, Frank and Clovia Fairchild.

She is survived by four children: Julia (Michael) Coyan of Jackson, Ohio, Nicholas Morse II of Oak Hill, Ohio, Patricia (Fred) Helms of Rodney, Ohio, and Jamie (Melynda) Morse of Oak Hill, Ohio; grandchildren: Olivia Turner, Micah Morse, Vaneetha Christopher, and Chad Helms; several great and great-grandchildren; brother, Hobert Fairchild; sister, Oma Snyder; and longtime caregiver, Brenda Hanks.

Besides her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her first husband, Nicholas Morse; her second husband, Jimmy Farley; daughter, Kim Christopher; grandson, Matthew Christopher; and siblings: Eloise Curtis, Opal Woolum, Elwood “Bill” Fairchild, Ellis Fairchild, Clarence Fairchild, and James Fairchild.

The family would like to extend thanks to Buckeye Forest and Adena Hospice; as well as to Brenda Hanks for the special care she has provided Louise over the years. 

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with a service immediately following at 1PM with Rev.
