John David “Welby” Waugh left this world on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 at his residence in Wilkesville, Ohio. He was born September 16th, 1946 to the late John Robert Waugh and Gladys “Sis” (Browning) Collins.

He is survived by his sons, John (Stacy) Waugh of Ray, Ohio and Joshua Waugh of Sprinfield, Ohio; two daughters, Amy Waugh of Wilkesville, Ohio and Jessica (Waugh) Scott of Chillicothe, Ohio; sister, Martha Wick of Springfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Sue Waugh; three brothers, Robert, James, and Alford Waugh; two sisters, Jane Britz and Cora Bethel; and granddaughter, Lacey R. West.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2020 from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 2PM with Elder Cheryl Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Coalton Cemetery. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask indoors and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
