Willis Tomblin, age 70, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, at Holzer of Gallipolis. He was born November 25th, 1950, in Stiltner, West Virginia to O. Faye (Napier) Tomblin and the late Willis H. Tomblin.


He is survived by his wife, Wanda Justice Tomblin; daughter, Felicia Lea (Chris) Walls; grandchildren: Devon (Kendra) Walls and Zachary Walls (Kira Mullins); siblings: Sheila (Dorain) Adkins, Michelle (Jason) Howell, and Rodney Tomblin; step-children: Angel (Eric) Arledge, Amy Hubbard (Robert Gubbins), Angie Justice, and Ashley (Jonathon) Thacker; step-grandchildren: Austin (Breanna) Fields, Alisha Francis, Wakeena Oney, Roger Oney (Chassidy Stiff), Michael Hubbard, Robert Hubbard, Cherokee Hubbard (Nate Evans), Nathan Radabaugh, Ericcsson Radabaugh, and Talon Radabaugh; sister-in-law, Anna Hartley; eight step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.


In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and his first wife, Naomi Tomblin.


Willis was a graduate of Burch High School in Delbarton, WV. He was a former employee of Southern Ohio Coal, the Jackson Police Department, and was a corrections officer at RCI. He was also a volunteer at Hocking Hills State Park as a Trail Troll.


He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, golfing, boating, skiing, and coyote hunting. He was also a fan of Mountain Monsters and was a dedicated Bigfoot hunter. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends on vacation and coon hunting with his grandchildren.


Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 14th, 2021, from 5-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15th, 2021, at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Paul’s Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
