Teresa Lee James, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away Thursday June, 16th 2022, at her home in Wellston, Ohio after a short illness. Born December 28th, 1967, in Jackson, Ohio, Teresa was a vibrant member of the community, and had many friends who found comfort in her easy-going charm and wonderful sense of humor. She could raise your spirits no matter what she was going through personally. She played softball, and other sports in her youth, where she demonstrated her incredible zest for life and teamwork skills. She worked in the service industry for the majority of her life, and was a well known face to many who frequented Lee’s Steakhouse in Wellston, where she acquired the nickname Mama T from her younger coworkers.
She is survived by her two sons: Alex Fout of Portsmouth, Virginia, and Casey Walker of Wellston, Ohio and his children, her brother Tim James, and her half-siblings Eric Eldridge, and Jenny James.
She was preceded in death by her partner, Vic “Brooklyn” Torres; loving grandmother, Dora “Dude” Cash; and mother, Marie (Lambert) James.
