Stephen Brock Maple, 27, of Portsmouth, formerly of Oak Hill, passed away at his home on October 29, 2020. He was born to Kamala Puckett and the late Stephen Scott Maple on September 28, 1993 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Brock loved life and lived in the moment. When you met Brock, you got an instant friend because he never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his mischievous smile, unforgettable laugh, his big heart and his natural athletic abilities. He loved sports, music, animals and most of all his family. Our hearts are broken, and we will forever feel the loss and emptiness of his absence.

He is survived by his daughter, Neveah June Maple, of South Webster; his mother, Kamala (Richard) Puckett, of South Webster; fiancée, Christina Barfield, and her son, Brandon, of Portsmouth; his grandfathers, John (Janet) Hale and John Klein, both of Oak Hill, and Bill (Sue) Maple, of Springfield, Ohio; his two brothers, Bo Puckett, of South Webster and Braxton Maple, of Washington C.H; his two sisters, Elizabeth and Harlee Maple, of Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving is his stepsisters, Jodie Jones and Brittney Purcell; stepbrother, Chris Puckett, all of South Webster; aunts and uncles, JB (Brandie) Hale, of Oak Hill; Darren Maple, of Jackson and Josie (Tim) Howard, of Oak Hill.
