Sheila Ann Smith went to be with our lord and savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 12, 2022. She was born July 3, 1957, in Oak Hill to the late Harvey and Anna Jean (Snyder) Smith.
Sheila loved everyone, never met a stranger, and would give the shirt off her back to help anyone she could. She loved being a Nanny to her only grandson, Easton more than anything in the world.
Sheila is the daughter of Anna Jean and Harvey Smith who precede her in death. She is survived by her longtime partner, Willard Oiler Jr.; her son, Dakotah Smith, his girlfriend, Autumn Casey; their son Easton Smith; brother, Farron Smith; and sister, Lisa (Lee) Finley.
She had many “adopted” kids she treated as her own, especially regarding her son’s friends throughout life and treated everyone as family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 11-1 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 with Pastor Bryon Carmon officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
