Ronda Ann Jenkins, age 56, of Gallipolis, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Buckeye Forest in Jackson. She was born October 17, 1967, to the late Robert Jenkins and Phyllis (Slater) Bush.
She is survived by her children, Rob Cook, (Nicole Weese) of Ravenswood, WV, Elizabeth Dianne Robinson, and Danielle Jenkins; sister, Christie (John) Hornsby, of Gallipolis, Ohio; and her stepfather, Russell Bush; and her stepmother, Sherry Jenkins. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Alex Jenkins, Chase Ashley, Colin, Lilly, Kendra and Leo Robinson, and Scarlett and Olivia Cook; nephew, Sean Hornsby; and her cat, “Alfred the Great” or “Alfredo”.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Ronda graduated from Southwestern High School. She went on to join the military. She enjoyed various hobbies but specifically she dabbled in making soap, yogurt and bread. She was obsessed with scrolling on Twitter.
Per her wishes, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
