Robert Lee Fulton, age 88, went to his long-awaited home on Friday, August 12th, 2022, to receive his new body. He was born June 15th, 1934, in Jack Horn, Kentucky to the late Willard B. and Inez (Simmons) Fulton.


He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Norma Jean Fulton; his children: Sandra (David) Dehart, Rita (Mitch) Barnett, Robert Jr. (Rose) Fulton, James (Tracey) Fulton, Keith (Carol) Fulton, and Roberta (Steve) King; a host of grandchildren including: Sarah and Hannah DeHart, Whitney and Tawney Mullins, Bradley (Taylor) Fulton, Nicole (Trey) Anders, Jonathon (Kayla) Fulton, Luke (Kinnison) Fulton, Grace (Matt) Moore, Ben and Nathan Fulton, Breanna (Michael) Bales, Danielle Smith, Leah Smith, and Gavon Jordan; bonus children: Sandra, Mitchell, Patty, David, and Johnny; siblings: Ruth, Lucky, Rosie, Mary, James, Shirley, Lavada, Jessie, and Oggie; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Phyllis Ann (Anderson) Fulton; second wife, Mildred (Ross) Fulton; and his siblings: Lena Glen, Paul, Jean, and Johnny Fulton.


Robert was a retiree of the Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He has been a devoted minister since 1975 and was a member of Coalton FWB Church.


He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.


Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 15th, 2022, from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, at 11AM with Minister Neal Brock officiating. A burial with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
