Rickey Ray “Swami” Swords, age 57, passed away on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center after a brief battle with Cancer. He was born November 3rd, 1964, in Gallia County, Ohio to the late William Clarence and Donna Raye (Humphrey) Swords.

Rickey had been employed by DuPont of Circleville, Ohio and also CCI as a corrections officer. He was known as a dedicated and hard worker.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Bryant) Richards; four grandchildren; sister, Terri Lynn (Kenneth) Hale; brothers, William “Bill” Swords, Kevin Swords, and Tim (Kim) Swords; and his best friend, Toni Lynn Buehrle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randall “Scott” Swords.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 31st, 2022 at 11AM at Gallia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
