Rena F. (Parsons) Campbell, age 94, entered into rest on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 3, 1929, in Carter County, KY., a daughter of the late Davey Crockett Parsons and Nora Lizbeth (McGuire) Parsons.
Rena was a founding member of Trippieville United Baptist Church, of Ray, Ohio. She loved going to church and singing gospel songs. She also loved cooking for her family and her church.
She was married to Arnold (Ben) Campbell on October 29, 1951, in Lucasville, Ohio.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ben Campbell; one daughter, Wanda Sue Oney; three grandchildren, Tommy Hickman, Debbie Hickman and Sarah Hickman Spencer, and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by four daughters, Jo (Ron) Warrens, of Ray, Ohio, Patricia (Steve) Morton, of Chillicothe, Barbara Morgan, of Circleville, and Carol (Keith) Ray, of Circleville; eight grandchildren: Elizabeth Spradlin (Jesse Garrett) of Ray, Craig (Teresa) Spradlin, of Chillicothe, Terra Case, of Jackson, Jared (Missy) Warrens, of Jackson, Brian Ray, of Circleville, Misty (Joe) Hartley, of Lancaster, Shelby (Tim) Jones, of Oak Hill, and Heather (Danny) Dalton, of Jasper, Ohio. Also surviving are 24 great grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 29, 2023, from 5-8 PM at Trippieville United Baptist Church located on Bronx Corner Road in Ray. Funeral service will be 11 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the church with Pastors Ronnie Warrens and Arlie Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Coalton.
