Raymond Bevins Jr., age 62, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 4th, 2024. He was born April 7th, 1961, in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Willadean (Turner) Bevins.
He is survived by his wife and companion of 24 years, Gail Bevins; his son, Jason Bevins; stepson, Christopher (Ashley) Mead; three granddaughters: Carly, Aubree, and Abigail Mead; three siblings: Sandy (Dan) Borchert, Joyce Walker, and Patricia Gibson. He was beloved by many nieces, nephews, and friends as well as three fluffy cats and he will be dearly missed by his best friend, canine Dottie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Bevins.
Ray was a hard-working, down-to-earth, country boy. He enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, feeding deer in his backyard, walks with Dottie, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and sunshine, country drives, and music.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and a beautiful smile.
