Priscilla “Prissy” Anne McCoy, age 78, and a resident of Jackson, OH, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 18, 2020, in New Carlisle, Ohio, at Van Crest of New Carlisle due to complications from kidney disease.
She was born at Good Samaritan Hospital on January 14, 1942, in Dayton, OH, to her parents, Henry B. Willis and Mildred (Lapp) Willis of Dayton, OH
Priscilla retired in 2003 from her most fulfilling job as CNA at Heartland of Jackson. She was a loyal member of The Trinity Chapel where she praised her Lord and Savior; she was without a doubt an animal lover of all kinds -- fur and feather-- and she loved to plant and watch things grow. She also enjoyed antique hunting with her best friend and adored her family and friends.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Cecil Ray McCoy.
Priscilla is survived by her brother Howard “Bud” Lee Willis (Diana) of Dayton, OH; her sons, Jeff Mollencupp (Cheryl Lee) of Dayton, OH; Tommy M. Sanders (Brenda) of Dayton, OH; Joe Sanders (Christy) of North Port, FL; and Bryan Pettit (Missi) of Jackson, OH; granddaughters, Stephanie Mollencupp-Henry (Tom) of South Bend, IN; Amber Crouse of North Port, FL; and her grandson, Dalton Sanders also of North Port, Fl; nieces, Kamerale Willis-Rea (Joe) and Cindy Willis-Moffitt (Quinn); her great nieces, Jackie Rea-Hall (Eric), Amanda Rea-Everhart (Alex), Hannah Rea-Eckley (Josh) and Sarah Rea; great nephews, Christopher Collins, Alex Collins and Hunter Moffitt; and two precious great-great nieces, Liana Eckley and Reagan Hall
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020, from 12:00PM to 2PM with funeral services to follow at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, OH, with the Rev. Knox Bullock officiating and interment at Hamilton/McCoy Cemetery.
