Marjorie E. Ervin, age 91, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Four Winds in Jackson. She was born November 27, 1929 in Jackson to the late Charles and Myrtle Erwin.
She has seven siblings, Robert, Elenore, Louise, Carolyn, Cathleen, Charlene and Richard. They were all raised in Winchester. Marjorie graduated from Bloomfield School.
On November 2, 1954, Marjorie married Roger Ervin. Together, they had three children, James, Jane and Robert. Throughout her life she worked for Jackson Co. Health Department, Jenkins Nursing Facility, she was Bloomfield Township Clerk and was the ladies Auxiliary Fire Dept. Her last job was as a door greeter at Walmart. She was a member of Vega Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Twila) Ervin; sister, Carolyn Lewis; sister-in-law, Barbara House; three grandchildren, April Ervin, Ian (Diana) Ervin, Annetta Snyder; ten great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Roger; children, James and Jane Ervin; and six siblings; and two grandsons, Dustin Vance and Benjamin Snyder.
Friends may call Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 11-1 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 with Reverend Janie Karl and Pastor Josh West officiating. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery.
