Leora Ellen (Fulk) Bowling, age 88, of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. She was born November 15, 1932 in Oak Hill to the late Arthur Fulk and Stella (McCain) Rawlins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Charles R. Bowling; grandson, Charles “Chuck” Crabtree; sister, Barbara Howell; brothers, Howard and Robert Fulk; and half sister, Judy.
She is survived by her son, Michael Steven (Wanda) Crabtree; great grandsons, Kyle (Abby) Crabtree, Devin Crabtree and Cody (Rikki) Crabtree. She is also survived by her great great granddaughter, Emmalynn Rachelle Crabtree; step brother, Jimmy (Lisa) Fulk; step sister, Joann (Danny) Holcomb; and also several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Leora was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church for many years. She loved her church family. She was blessed with many friends, she loved to crochet, knit, paint, and numerous other crafty things. She was a jack of all trades. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend to all.
At her request, no visitation will be observed. Public graveside services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 12:30 at the CM Cemetery with Pastors Fred Crabtree and Dave Staiger officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
