Kathy Louise (Crabtree) Burns, age 63, of Jackson, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 29th, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. She was born December 29th, 1958, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Arthur E. and Elinor Louise (Jones) Crabtree. She was a 1977 graduate of Groveport Madison High School. She was formerly employed by ParaSec in Columbus, Ohio.

She is survived by her companion, Tom Cain; sons, Jason and Jeremy of Tennessee; grandchildren: Raylen, Korbyn, and Kason all of Tennessee; siblings: Marsha Stahurski of Groveport, Ohio and John (Lisa) Crabtree of Corning, Ohio; niece, Ashley Stahurski; nephew, Devon (McKenzie) Crabtree; niece, Josie Crabtree; great-nephew, Jameison Crabtree; aunts: Sue Jones, Judy (Curt) Wiggins, and Shirley Taylor all of Jackson, Ohio; uncle, David (Kay) Jones of Columbus, Ohio; special cousin, Al Jones; and her dog, Shelby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erick Burns; grandparents, Floyd and Katherine Crabtree and Homer and Merle Jones; and brother-in-law, Ed Stahurski.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heartland Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Kathy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, from 11AM-12PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A memorial service will follow at 12PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
