James Richard “Jim” Bowles, age 73, of Oak Hill, Ohio went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at Grant Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. He was born June 23rd, 1949, in Scioto, Ohio to the late Clarence and Alberta (Grant) Bowles.

James was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and former employee of both Dick’s Carry-Out and Denny Fulks’s Radiator Shop. She enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his siblings: Robert (Frieda) Bowles, Sharon Williams, Beverly Whitt, and Randy (Cheryl) Bowles; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Betty Yates and brothers, Dean Bowles and Bill Bowles.
