James Lee McKenzie, age 66, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 at his home. He was born March 16th, 1956, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late James Luther and Virginia (Dickens) McKenzie.

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Potts; grandson, Austin Potts; brother, Randy (Debbie) McKenzie; two sisters, Kay (Tommy) Boroff and Teresa McKenzie; mother of his child, Brenda McKenzie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

James was a former employee of Davis Trucking. He was known to be a hard worker, always giving his all. He loved fishing, tinkering in his garage, and his Harley. He dearly loved his family, especially his grandson.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 26th, 2022, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
