Fern Yvonne Blevins, age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 10th, 2022, at Kobacker House of Columbus. She was born February 20th, 1937, in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Charley and Emma Mae Fulk.
Fern is survived by her daughters: Melinda Current, Teresa Berry, Fawn Blevins, Charlotte Blevins, Rita Blevins, and Samantha Blevins; twelve grandchildren: Isaac Current, Sarah Current, Justin Berry, Autumn Preston, Brittany Murphy, Nathan White, Lisa Staten, Jennifer Ballard, Travis Blevins, Amanda Olson, Andrew Mayer, and Megan Smith; as well as several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, JB Blevins; her son, Malcolm Blevins; grandsons, Christopher Blevins and Joshua Blevins; and granddaughter, Marissa Berry.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Per her wishes no public service will be held. The family requests for those who wish to send something to the family that perennial plants or flowers that will be planted in a special memorial garden in her honor be sent to her granddaughter, Megan Smith.
