Elizabeth Denise Cantor-Sunderland, age 57, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Monday, January 30, 2023, at her residence. She was born May 31st, 1965, in Gallipolis, Ohio, daughter of the late Roger D. Cantor and Betty L. Cantor.
Denise was a Nursing Assistant for many, many years at Four Winds Nursing Facility and Heartland of Jackson. She loved the Bengals, her grandsons, Euchre, Elvis, and 90’s hip-hop.
She was loved dearly by her two children, Amanda and Matthew, her brothers, and her friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Wilson (Dave Rusler) of Gallipolis, Ohio; grandsons, Phenix and Zander Jackson and Boston Rusler all of Gallipolis, Ohio; son: Matthew Wilson of Jackson, Ohio; brothers, Tony (Jennifer) Cantor of Jackson, Ohio, Bob (Shannon) Cantor of Jackson, Ohio, and Dewey Cantor of Auburn, Washington; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the Sunderland family.
Besides her parents, Denise was preceded in death by her brother, Roger L. Cantor of Jackson, Ohio and sister-in-law, Dawn Cantor of Auburn, Washington.
Family will greet guests on Friday, February 3rd, 2023, from 1-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Memorial services will follow at 2PM with Pastor Russ Strange officiating.
