Edward “Eddie” Yerian passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at OSU in Columbus. He was born June 18, 1964 to the late Robert and Edith Yerian.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Betsy” Thomas Yerian; children, Brandi Ann Yerian, Sharon (Fred) Southall, Darrell Mollett, Adam Mollett, and their mother, Sarah Gilliland; grandchildren, Ashely Nielsen, Dakota Halley, Nathaniel Shephard, Mary Jane Shephard, Bella Shephard, Hattie Mollett, Adam Michael Mollett and Jackson Mollett. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Bryson Nielsen and Jayely Oiler; siblings, Raymond (Linda) Hughes, Jeff (Stephanie) Yerian, John (Jessica) Yerian, Kevin Yerian, Sharon Yerian and Phillip Yerian; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, Kenneth, Steve, James, Rich, Ronnie, Chris, Carl, George, and Wade Yerian; sisters, Betty Cantor, Anita Garrison, Vicky Skaggs and Pam Hannah.
Eddie was an avid coon hunter, fisherman and lover of all music. He leaves behind numerous friends and many good stories.
A public memorial service will be held 4:00 Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Visitation will be from 3-4 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson County Dog Pound 248 Reservoir Rd. Jackson, Ohio 45640.
