Donna Lee (Crabtree) Boggs, age 84, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 17th, 2023. She was born September 5, 1938, to the late Homer and Lucille (Keller) Crabtree.
Donna is survived by daughters, Tammy (Jim) Blauvelt and Darlene (Greg) Caulley; sisters, Priscilla Lahrmer and Wanda Waugh; four granddaughters, Brittany (Jason) Fishel, Kara (Andy) Elcess, Breann (Chris) Beasley, and Andrea (Derrick) Moore; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Boggs; daughter, Shelia Kay Boggs; brother, Ron Crabtree; and sisters, June Seymour and Loretta Tobert.
Donna was the second oldest of her siblings. Between five sisters and a brother, there was never a dull moment, and they were full of laughter and love. Donna would go on to have her own beautiful family with Gene. They had three daughters, along with their families, and her siblings’ families that she loved like her own. Thank you for always being the sister, mother, Meemaw, aunt, second mom, and so much more to all that knew and loved you.
Visitation will be 11-1 Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Staiger officiating. Burial will follow in Horeb Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
