Donald Lee Welch Sr. passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at his home. He was born October 14, 1947, in Oak Hill to the late Clarence and Mollie (Nickels) Welch.
Don was retired from SOCF and a proud U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed hunting and working outside. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Vickie (Bloomfield) Welch; two sons, Donald Lee Welch II, of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Wesley A. Welch, of Wheelersburg, Ohio. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren.
Don was a great husband and father. He will be missed.
Public visitation will be held Monday, October 31, 2022, from 4-6 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. At his request there will be no funeral after. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
