David Allen Burton, age 61, passed away Sunday, November 21st, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center of Gallipolis. He was born March 3rd, 1960, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Donald Weston Burton and Patricia Ann (Morris) Burton.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandy; brother, Gregg (Deborah) Burton; sisters, Julie Volbert (Charles W. Suich Jr.) and Tricia Martin; nieces and nephews: Gage and Lauren Volbert and Michael and Sophie Martin; chosen family and close friends: Tom Howison, Gwen Beatty, Diane Beatty, Trinity Howison, Chris Howison, Henry Howison, Frankie Howison, Nicoles Howison, Angela Heard, Curt Hudson, George Aldrich; special friend, Juda Leach; favorite fishing budding, Roger Law; great-nieces and nephews, Deon, Nevaeha, Alayziah, Titus, Miley, Kinlee, and Kori; as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Russell David and Estalee (Gilliam) Burton and maternal grandparents, Kenneth R. and Anna Lee (Gussler) Morris.
David attended Olentangy High School where he was a part of the class of 1978. He was a retired plumber, train enthusiast, avid fisherman, artist, and a great gardener who loved spending time tending to his plants.
