Daniel Woods, age 28, of Jackson, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. He was born May 19th, 1993, in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He is survived by his parents, David Woods (Andi Townson) of Jackson, Ohio, and Janelle (Rodney) White of Chillicothe, Ohio; his son, Kamden Woods; Kamden’s mother, Jerica Robles; siblings, Samantha Woods and Dawson Woods; maternal grandparents, Larry Jenkins (Paula Malone), Greta Hale, and Jim and Becky White; nephews, Romen, Easton, and Lincoln; niece, Karolina; uncles, Steve (Misty) Woods and Dwight (Lora) Woods; cousins, Steve Woods Jr. and Lacey Woods; and many other family and friends who loved Daniel and whom he loved.
Daniel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Orville and Mary Jane Woods; maternal grandfather, Chester Hale; and cousin, Amanda Woods.
Daniel loved his pride and joy son, Kamden more than words can express. He also loved bow hunting and oh how he loved Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. He was a fierce football player himself. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends. Daniel was saved and baptized at Elevate Ministries by Pastor Russ Strange.
This world will never be the same without him. He will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 9th, 2021, from 3-7PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 10th, 2021, at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastor Russ Strange officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. You may donate during visitation, over the phone using a credit card, mail in a check or money order, or stop by either of our locations during regular business hours.
