Conrad “Ray” Stalnaker, age 80, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 13th, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born February 23rd, 1942 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to the late Opie and Melva (Jeffries) Stalnaker.

Ray was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran with 20 years of service to his country. He retired from Plaskolite as a Maintenance Technician after 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, farming, farm animals, and watching John Wayne movies.

He is survived by his children: Kevin (Rhonda) Stalnaker, Christopher (Melissa) Stalnaker, and Tracy Stalnaker (Mandee Johnson); grandchildren: Kevin (Bethany) Stalnaker Jr., Natasha Stalnaker, Tifani Hughes, Christopher Stalnaker, Nicholas (Paige) Stalnaker, A’jay Stalnaker, Steven Stalnaker, Nikita Stalnaker, Natalie Stalnaker, Hunter May, Jessica Logsdon, Lynsey Logsdon, and Lexie Logsdon; siblings: Cisco Laken (Regina) Stalnaker and family and Frances (Bob) Westfall and family; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Velma “Sue” Stalnaker; daughter, Jeanie Stalnaker; and sister, Garnet Pickens.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
