Beverly I. Whitt, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 4th, 2023, unexpectedly at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 3rd, 1947, to the late Clarence and Alberta (Grant) Bowles.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa (Darin) Jones and Bridget Lodwick; grandchildren: Derek Jones, Austin (Bailee) Lodwick, Mikayla (Dylan) Staiger, Brianna Lodwick, and Sean (Adriane) Lodwick; great-grandchildren: Brayden Chandler and Lillien Lodwick; sister, Sharon Williams; brothers, Bob (Frita) Bowles and Randy (Cheryl) Bowles; sister-in-law, Karen Bowles; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Beverly is now reunited with her loving and faithful husband of 55 years, Billy Whitt who preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Gene) Yates; brothers, Bill (Jenny-Gay) Bowles, James Bowles, Dean Bowles, and Stanley Bowles; along with nephew, Phil Banks.
Beverly was a Godly, kind woman who loved everyone. She was a loving wife and amazing mother to her two daughters as well as an amazing grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved cooking and baking with her granddaughters and cleaning her house. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch and rocking in her rocking chair, but spending time with her family was her favorite pastime.
Beverly was a sweet soul and will be deeply missed by many.
