Vonda June Snyder

Vonda June Snyder, age 87, of Oak Hill, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14th, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 2nd, 1938, in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Osburn L. and Laura (Miller) Christian.

Vonda is survived by her children: Teddy (Dee) Snyder, Tony Snyder, Brenda Snyder Corbin, and Doug Snyder; her grandchildren: Jennifer M. Snyder, Destry Neil Snyder, Shawn Thomas Snyder, Christopher M. Corbin, and Ryan E. Corbin; 11 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin Christian; sister, Gail Wylie; special cousin, Terry (Tammy) Snyder; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Snyder; granddaughter, Cordella Snyder; and siblings: Chuck, Johnny, Bill, Lawrence, Donna, Emma, Juanita, and Delores.

Vonda was a beautiful, loving soul and devout Christian who loved the Lord. Those who knew her will miss her fondly.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, from 6-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at 1PM at the funeral home with Rev. Travis Potts officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
