Steven L. Taylor, age 67, of Oak Hill, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. He was born October 24, 1954, in Oak Hill to the late Carroll E. and Carrie H. (Carter) Taylor.

He is survived by his grandson, Jordan Taylor, of Oak Hill; granddaughter, Olivia Taylor; brothers, Larry (Darlene) Taylor, of Vinton County, and Greg Taylor, of Oak Hill.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Taylor; son, Steven Paul Taylor; sisters, Carol J. Taylor, Sheila Price; infant sister, Redda Taylor and an infant brother, Ronnie Taylor.

Steve graduated from Oak Hill High School. He then worked for A.P. Green until 1983 when an accident caused him to be disabled. He enjoyed working on cars in his younger years. Most recently he enjoyed his cat, “Millie”.

Friends may call Friday, November 26, 2021, from 1-3 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Allen Simpson officiating.
