Shawn Frederick Smith, age 50, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, February 11, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center of Jackson.

Shawn was born February 27, 1971, in Gallipolis, Ohio. He was the oldest son of the late Charles and Janet (Gray) Smith.

He is survived by his daughter, Kylee Jade; brother, Brandon Smith; uncle and aunt, Boyd and Bonnie (Gray) McCain; cousin, Charmin (Chuck) Miller and their children, Peyton and Andrew of Jackson; and a host of childhood cousins, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, his loving grandma, Eva Gray and grandpa, Johnny Gray. His grandmother, Dorothy Bowens and grandpa, George Smith.

Shawn will be greatly missed by family and friends and especially his best fur friend, “Deuce”.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 19th, 2022, at 2PM at Horeb Cemetery with Pastor Stan Howard officiating.
