Sharon Ruth Ditmer

Sharon Ruth Ditmer, age 77, of Wellston, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 29th, 2026, at Edgewood Manor. Sharon was born July 6th, 1948, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Morris and Cora (Sexton) Rowland.

She is survived by her children: Keith Ditmer, Janice (John) Lambert, and Sonita (Timothy) Osborne; grandchildren: Shelby (Charles) Moss, Josh Hager, Brandon (Nicole) Grigsby, Sharon (Andrew) Thomas, Courtney (Austin) Lewis, Jarrell Ditmer, and Oliver Ditmer; great-grandchildren: Cindy Moss, Charles “Charlie Boy” Moss III, Mary-Shelia Moss, Isla Grigsby, Penelope Grigsby, and Ariel, Bruce, and Baby John Boy Thomas; sister-in-law, Wilma Rowland; niece, Rebecca Wells; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Ditmer; and her siblings: Lee Rowland, Donald Rowland, and Janice Ditmer.

Sharon enjoyed singing, gardening, and doing crafts-especially ceramic painting. Her greatest joy in life, however, was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, from 12PM-2PM with a service after at 2PM with Pastor Rob Ervin officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
